[s-cars] ranch suspension after rebuild

Ok, another question..
I just got done doing a fairly complete front end rebuild, everything
was replaced except the 4 sub-frame bushings that need to be pressed
out. This includes all the strut goodies as well(bearings/upper mount)..
At the same time I purchased the ECS camber plates and spring perch.
Everything went back together OK. I lowered the car with the mounting
hardware for the sway bar snugged, but not torqued, carefully drove the
car on ramps and did the final torques for everything under the car and
drove it down from the ramps..
Problem is that now the front end of the car sits higher than what it
used to by about 1" HIGHER
Has anyone else seen this when rebuilding the front suspension? I have
H/R & Koni shocks.. again, everything went together well.. I don't see
how you could put the strut together WRONG.. Could the new bushings
cause this? I drove it just a bit down the street thinking things may
need to settle in, but that didn't change anything..
Rough measure now shows the rear 1/2" lower than the front. Im also
going to call ECS to see what they have to say..
If the camber were _WAY_ off could that cause this problem?
Any BTDT's with something like this?
Thanks-
Jim - spongy brakes and now rancho suspension! when will the madness end?
