[s-cars] Oxygen Sensor Electrical Connector - Won't Budge

If this is the connector that is held in the metal holder, try the following. First, disconnect the top half of the connector so you have the bottom part left in the metal holder. Then, twist/turn (and shout :-) ) the bottom part a bit and pull forward on it (toward the front of the car) and it should free up and slide out the slot at the front of the metal holder.

Replacing O2 sensor today and having trouble removing the electrical
connector against the firewall that has the 2 white wires. Any tips on
freeing this sucker?
Looks like this may be first time this sensor has been replaced.
