[s-cars] How do I minimize camber after installing springs

For those who have lowering springs....

I just installed a set of Intrax springs in my 93 S4.
I am waiting for the modified camber plates, but in
the meanwhile, I want to adjust the upper strut mounts
so they minimize camber to prevent inner tire wear.

My question is, should the elongated holes in the
strut mounts be exposed on the fender side of the car
(nuts closest to engine - this was the original
posotion with the stock springs) or should the
elogated holes be closest to the engine (nuts closest
to fender)
