I'm selling my own (beloved) Tornado Red/black interior S4. It's a VERY cl=
ean, unmolested example with 143,000 highway miles on it. Never tracked, n=
ever raced, never wrecked, never chipped, never even a speeding ticket. Mo=
stly used for family trips in the winter and long kayaking trips in the spr=
ing. Now in Summertime we drive sports cars and the S4 is unused. So it's=
 time to sell.

Car is unmodified except for Euro lights, PIAA driving lights and a killer =
Alpine stereo system in-dash CD (with component A/D/S speakers) and 12-disc=
changer, subwoofer in the trunk (cost me $3500 in a weaker moment). Paint=
is very clear, no chalkiness. a couple small door dings. Seat bolsters a=
re in good shape, regular leather care, interior treatment & exterior regul=
arly hand-waxed. Unfortunately, it has the OEM Speedline six-spoke 15" all=
oys with Michelin Alpin tires, but I have a set of 16" 5-spoke alloys which=
I'll probably sell separately (without tires).

Last year I had Greg Haymann at Autofirme go through the suspension and rep=
lace all the suspension & subframe bushes, steering damper, etc. It has Ko=
ni yellow shocks and the '92 rear antiroll bar and the stiffer and better-h=
andling European suspension of the first year S4's. It feels practically n=
ew, and all seems well with the power and the transmission. A very short l=
ist of minor fixes still needed (e.g. bulbs in seat heater switches), but a=
ll the big stuff is in great shape. I have most receipts since I've owned =
it. Timing belt replaced at 60,000 and 120,000 miles. Mobil 1 every 5000 =
miles since 45,000 when I got it, and no stories, no major problems.

Frankly, it's at the high end of the value scale due to devoted maintenance=
, and for the S-list, a killer deal at $9,000. It'll be more when I post i=
t elsewhere. Contact me offline dfhaley at snet.net for all details.
