[s-cars] new s6 avant owner, couple of questions

Hello,

On Saturday I picked up a Pearlescent White 1995.5 S6 Avant w/ 32,200 miles
on the odometer and drove it home. I'm extremely happy with my purchase so
far.

However, there are two minor things that bothered me on the drive home.
First off, the rear defroster doesn't work. The light does light up when I
press the switch, and the heating wires in the rear hatch window seem
unbroken. But the window doesn't defrost. Is it possible that the switch is
still broken even though the light lights up?

Secondly, there is a small rattle from the moonroof when I go over bumps.
Pushing up on the sliding cover makes the noise go away, so I think the
cover is hitting something. Is this something that has been covered before?
An informal search online didn't turn up anything at first glance.
