Thought you might get a kick out of this.

A short while ago, I installed a fuel pressure gauge by using a double banjo
bolt on the fuel filter.  Yesterday, I found the cheap gauge I used was
leaking, so I parked my car in the underground garage at my office and drove
my Corvette home.  This morning, I replaced the double banjo with the stock
banjo bolt to temporarily disconnect the gauge until I can find a sturdier
replacement. I performed this in the garage under my building, around 8:00
am.  Of course, a small amount of gasoline leaked while I did
this...................


A few hours later, both the Police and Fire Department show up, and the
building was evacuated.   Later, I learned the reason for the evacuation was
because someone called the Police and said they smelled "a gas leak".
