Actually the cats will be emptied from the ceramic material which is inside.
The mecanic wanted to changed only the broken one but there would have been
a diference of speed for the exhaust gaz between both exhaust lines since a
new cat is much more efficient than an old one.
I also discovered that the ceramic cat do not have an extended life. After 6
years or 1500000 kilometers, it is pretty much normal to replace them. Can
anybody confirm ?

Finally to finish on an happy note, I organized an Audi group 15 RS2, 2 S6
Plus, 1 S3 and a 650 HP S2 for a race track event at Dijon-Prenois (Formula
1 Standard track) two weeks ago. In the straight line, The S2 had a top
speed of 260 km/h while I was reaching 220 km/h. Engine Power, Quattro
System compensated the weight when running with Elises, Spider and other

Folembray is in two weeks. we may have a national suprise for that event but
I am waiting final confirmation to announce anything. A couple of RS4, three
S6 Plus and three sport Quattro will be there as well
