[s-cars] Intermittent Oil Temp

I had a similar problem with my oil temperature gauge
occasionally cutting out. It was related to engine
movement since it would cut out whenever I gave it any
decent amount of throttle, so obviously the wiring has
an intermittant break in it.
The oil sensor is at the front of the engine at the
bottom. You'll have to take the belly pan off, if you
have one. The wire is tie wrapped to the round tube
across the front and comes in from the right side. I
simply pulled a little more wire through under the tie
wrap to give it a little more slack at the sensor and my
problem went away. I'm sure eventually the break will
degrade further and I'll have to crimp on a new
connector but I'll deal with it at that time. It's been
holding for about a year now.
