[s-cars] horses and CD's

Hey audiophiles-

Got that strange unsettling feeling you just might have ONE MORE kick left
in you for that DEAD HORSE now, do you? Well then, have I got the question
for you!!!

OK, I'm attempting to purchase a local lister's 10 disc changer. My
research indicates that neither of the Sony 10 discs I have in my possession
from my other cars will work due to the silver 'converter' box, required.

ANYway, here's the question: the 10 disc is coming out of a '93 (short
radio), and going in my '95 (short radio). MY car has a rectangular plug
dangling in the inner fender well, I presume for the CD interface. The
seller says his '93 is a 'round pin' (he will peel everything back tonight
and look in his).

Now, have a look at the attached picture from UrS4 site, it shows what I
HOPE is my rectangular plug coming from the car and going into the
converter, and the round plug he sees going up to the changer. Right?

I 'assume' this is why many people told me I need a 'round pin' changer, but
now believe that statement is only 1/2 true. Yes, a round pin changer, but
a rectangular plugged CAR.

Anyone have any silly thoughts on this... other than "Thud!!! ----
NEIIIIIIIGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"?

TIA.
