I can almost guarantee that a front mount IC won't fit with the euro setup
unless there is modification of the bumper core. I played around with
installing an RS2 IC while the bumper was off my car and found that it just
barely fit.....and I wanted something larger.
So I'm planning a different route with the IC.
You could remove the center section of the bumper's aluminum core and fab a
bracket to hold an IC in its place. I'm not sure what Seidl uses for a core
or if it even has one. If it doesn't then I would think twice about putting
it on my car. The core helps hold the front end tight and keeps the front
"horns" from folding on impact.

I must admit, no one knows more about the difference between the American
and European bumper mounts than Tom. Seidl may say that it mounts to both
but the later model A6 required shortening the length of the bumper mount to
make it fit. We are currently waiting for a complete kit to be shipped from
Seidl in Europe to Strictly Foreign in PA for test fitting on an American
body. We should have more answers by the end of June.
If the above is true then it wont fit over my Intercooler which requires
every inch of the US bumper to mount, at least as I remember it. Chime in
