I wasnt condemning the practice and it may be the most cost effective way to
run a car hard. But as you said (if I remember) that you didnt look at it as
adding power. I am afraid my obsession with getting 500 at the wheels colors
the way I look at things in general and I really dont think in terms of the
cars except as a way to go really fast very quickly. Sorry if I sounded like
I was condemning, You can and should see what the  cylinder pressure is when
pumping the water, you might be surprised how much higer the pressure will
run when you are injecting water, one of the list engineers could probably do
the math and tell you, I have heard that pressure runs very high.
