The Bentley does give the capacity with the transmission specs.  I don't
remember what it says, and I'm too lazy to look it up now, but I can tell
you that mine took 3.3 quarts, which is somewhat more than what the Bentley
said.  I think there's something about it being full when the fluid is a few
millimeters below the fill hole, but I took mine right up to the hole.  I
got close to 3 quarts out when I drained mine.  I want to ask if you found
the second drain plug, but if you got 3 quarts in, it must have been pretty
well drained.
