[s-cars] Brake light woes on 95.5 S6

My brake light is on and will not go off. When I brake
there is a pulsation in the pedal. But wait, there's
more. I recently replaced the hydraulic pump and
bought a recharged pressure accumulator. All was well
for a few months, then the light was staying on for a
while. I noticed by morning the pedal would sometimes
be rock hard. Fluid levels are ok. I just exchanged
the accumulator for a replacement, swapped it out
today, and problem still exists. The power steering
works fine still. Since I have a 95.5 there is no
booster as in earlier cars. Where do I go next?
