[s-cars] Block Heater Question

As I recall, there were actually two types.  One was just a small metal
heater that extended into the water jacket (usually in the place of a freeze
plug; the other was a small combination pump and heater that would actually
circulate the water through the system.  I had them for years in various
cars when I lived in the mountains.  It was the only way to get the car
started when the temp was down to 45 below and the car had to sit outside.
