[s-cars] Too many notes

Thanks for the reminder!
I forgot to mention my 100cc National class direct drive Go-kart with it's
long stroke Yamaha (for the twisty tracks), and short stroke Parilla (for
the faster tracks). Those things howl like you would not believe at
something like 14-16K rpm depending on gearing. Get the gearing wrong (as I
seemed to do rather frequently), and you end up exploding the engine and
locking the back wheels at something over 100mph. Now that's a thrill ride!

Whall, if you're talking creeping hair on the back of the neck, thrills &
chills run'n up'n down your spine & screams from the audience, I'd go with
the sounds of a 36cc two stroke McCullough or Husquevarna chain saw engine
at a Texas drive in theater on date night :-)
Nice list of sound bite memories &/or experiences though Len.

~I think my Fiat 124ST 1.8L twin cam with piatti heads, twin dellorto 40mm
~twin choke carbs, stage three cams, lightened and balanced bottom end and
~flywheel, & straight cut 5 speed box had the greatest sound
