[s-cars] Oil Cooler + accident update

Audi Homies,

By the way, I think the oil cooler adds about .5 quarts. I have yet to
change the oil since the installation, as my miles have been unfortunately
at a standstill just under 55k. To update my recent incident with the
uninsured motorist, or rather his with my parked car-

Total from the insurance company- $9,500.

Major items replaced- Bumper=front- Seidl scheduled to arrive next week,
Bumper=rear- new US spec S6 on order, Radiator, Intercooler- Happersized IC
staring me in the face, 2 bent frame rails- one mangled but repaired, both
headlights- Euro Xenons on the way $$$$, hood- ins paid for new one- had
existing one fixed, grille, AC condenser, radiator fan, various clips etc.

The part that pisses me off the most- My German Liscense plate was damaged,
as was the German dealer frame I was given a couple of weeks before-
Thankfully I have a friend importing a few of them...

I had previoulsly wanted the car repainted to a show finish, the original
one was a shitty one done in Colorado (man those people suck) :) It had an
incredible amount of orange peel, so my body shop guy told me that he would
colorsand and buff a bad section of the car. Man did it come out great! So
the plan now is to just repaint hood, fenders, and possibly trunk, and
colorsand and buff the rest. Ought to save some serious cash, and look just
as good. Too bad I can't keep black clean in this dusty desert
environment!!!
