[s-cars] Excess Wind noise on S6

It happened to me on both front doors after R&R the door latch. There is
a good chance there is a problem with the window frame alignment. You
should remove the door trim (complete procedure on
http://www.urs4.com/technical/interior/interior_trim.html. Note that the
front doors have an additional screw behind the door handle.)

Once the door trim is removed, loosen the four bolts of the window frame
(two in front of the door, two at the rear). The window frame is either
too low or too far from the body. There is a drawing in the Bentley
which explains how to align the window frame properly but I had more
success with trial and error.

Objet : [s-cars] Excess Wind noise on S6

I recently picked up an S6 w/ 100k miles. I've noticed an excessive
amount of wind noise coming from the passenger's door (near the front
windshield). The drivers door doesn't have the same problem.

A friend with the same vintage S6 has noticed the similar problem on his
passenger door.

I'd like to know if anyone else has noticed this problem and come up
with a fix. The moldings, gaskets, etc. All seem to be in good shape.

Thanks,
