[s-cars] Fwd: System status check module in dashboard malfunction

Take the IC apart and spray all of the connections with electrical contact
cleaner.  There is a hinged piece that has a plugged conection that seems to
be the culprit.  This happened to me a while ago.  I sprayed all of the
connections I could find and it went away.  It happened again about a year
later, sprayed evrything again and its gone.  HTH.
