Dan,
in the 200TQ it was a white plastic cylinder (~20mm DIA x 60mm long)
comprised of two parts snapped into each other. Inside there was some
heavy duty spring. BE VERY CAREFUL!!! You need to compress it before
installing, and it will take your eye out if it goes in your hands. I
needs a fixture to keep it compressed. I made my own. The spriing itself
is sitting deep inside the pedal cluster, you need to lay on your back
to see it.
