Mani,
Here's what I did when monkeys screwed my car up.
Jack up car. Remove wheel. Locate brake pad wear
sensor wiring. Cut it. Splice em together and tape
em w/Paul K's Slim Jim yellow E-tape and red zipties.
Brake pad warning light's gone, and will never come
back. Granted, you lose some of that OEM stuff, but I
have my wheels off more than normal and check pad life
semi-regularly, so it's not an issue for me. May be
for you. I tried making it work, but it would always
come undone and plus, the Pagid Orange pads don't
really let that sensor slip in there right. Do what
you want, but that's what I did.
