[s-cars] Understeer vs. oversteer?

Have you seen pictures of the old VW Rabbits on a autocross? Same idea. The
Rabbit understeers like mad, too. Put a beefy RSB on makes the rear roll
stiffness Wicked More than the front, causing the Rabbit to raise the inside
rear wheel under hard cornering. With two tires in contact in front, and
only one in the back, understeer can be tamed. Interesting to see how EDL
and quattro deal with a 4K lb car cornering on three wheels, but I think the
RSB size specified does not quite lift the inside rear tire. HTH.

Subject: [s-cars] Understeer vs. oversteer?
List,
Our cars understeer like pigs (not unlike my date this
weekend) because all the weight's on the nose, right?
Understeer is caused by front wheels losing traction
before the rear, so the car plows. Adding a Rear Sway
Bar should increase the rear traction. Hap, wouldn't
this make understeer worse?
Joe, confused as hell in NY, Pizzo
