s-heads,
Just thought I'd share with the group what I awoke to this fine high altitude
Evergreen(I do live 8000 ft above sea level) morning. SNOW! Yes Martha, there
was 3" of snow on the ground this morning. Do you have any idea what that
means? Invincibility! As I pulled on to the Interstate 70 this morning in
search of torque my outside air temp read 32 degrees F. The Happersize turbo
was on line. My Apexi boost controller is set to 22 lbs for every day driving
but no Martha, this was not everyday. Down I reached into the ashtray area
where the Apexi lurks. A couple of button pushes later(did I mention how hard
that sucker is to program; thanks Pete Tsai) and we're in high boost mode at
26 lbs. Off we go! Pure unadulterated torque. Gobs of torque. There is
something in knowing that the car you are driving is just about invincible.
What great cars these are! I was watching the responces to the guys request
for info on the 200 vs urS. In my mind the only choice from the upgradability
standpoint is the urS period, end of discussion. So its time to turn in but I
just thought that some of you would like to know.
Hap, dreaming away in Evergreen, Maguire
