Paul-
The euro lenses have a "E1" or similar (E2, E5, etc.) code in a circle
on the
lens. DOT lenses do not have this.

It's very easy to tell if they are Euro lights or not- they use
different bulbs
altogether- Euro lamps use H3/H3/H1 (or was it H1/H1/H3?) and DOT lights
use 9006
bulbs (IIRC).

Also, Euro lenses use clips to mount and are clearly (no pun intended)
less fluted
than the DOT lenses, which you have already to compare.

I'd go w/ OEM Audi Xenon projectors and ballasts, mounted in your low
beam location,
stock high beam and fog bulbs from a decent manufacturer, leave it at
that with the
Euro lenses, of course. Should give you decent lighting.

Heck, be happy you even have projector lamps! I can't get projectors
unless I have
some custom lenses molded and a radical modification of some headlamps.
If it were
easier, I'd already have Hella 90mm Xe lows and 90mm projector highs.

PIAA Super Whites look nice, but they're so pricey for getting really
nothing but
a cosmetic change.
