Mike,
In a word, no at least not exactly.
The lens is indeed the same as opposed to the old type-44 coz the
asymmetry is achieved by the low beam projector masking rather than the
directional fluting on the lens.
However the Low Beam projector in the LHD headlight goes from "flare to
the left" which is unacceptable in our RHD market to "no flare" which
enables the British to go across the Channel and still drive legally.
If you are willing to forgo the European Asymmetrical Beam flaring (a
big mistake IMO), theoretically you can use them with the flare mask
switch to "disable".
