WHOAH!! NEVER, EVER put anything with liquid silicon anywhere near the
intake. Just wipe the inside of the hose with some oil. From Bosch:
never use silicon (lubricant, grease, etc) products near the intake of
cars equipped with O2 sensors. Silicon does NOT burn in the combustion
and will contaminate and destroy the O2 sensor.

I did my Samcos in about two hours. The IC to throttle body was the
worst to do, but, just because of the tightness. I didn't have any of
the problems that Darin had (phew). The rest went well. I also
replaced the bypass valve, cleaned up everything, replaced every clamp,
and changed the valve cover gasket. It all took a nice afternoon...

Cheers,
Brian
