I concur. My summer (16 x 8 OEM 5-spoke) wheels stopped auto-loosening
after I put a thin coating of NeverSeize on the bolts. I believe dry
bolts achieve the desired torque without achieving the desired tension.
It is the tension that holds the wheel on.
