[s-cars] Temp Gauge Doesn't Move in COLD Weather

Cody,

  Sounds like you need a thermostat. Pretty typical in these cars. It's about a 1/2 hour job but a tad messy. A bunch of coolant will come out when you remove the t-stat even if you drain the radiator. If you leave the car sit and run it will warm up but it will cool back down when you drive as the t-stat usually fails in the open position. Temp guage should read close to 1/2 way even in cold weather.
