I'm looking at this change myself but find no recommended intervals, so
have arbitrarily set 120K as change interval. Assuming again you
aren't seeking Mr Bentley's sage advice on your own, book calls for:
Trans: 2.6 liters G 50 (synthetic oil) SAE 75W90 and 0.1 Liters gear
oil additive Part No. G 009 000 01 It was recently posted that this
was not available in US.
Rear Dif: 1.5 liters GL5 SAE90 (MIL-L 2105B)
Procedure: Drain out the bottom hole, replace in the top hole.
The local dealer quotes $21/ltr and didn't have any info but part # on
can. Wrenches there use the bulk supply in the shop. Recommend Pep
boys to others doing their own where Mobil l synthetic gear oil is
$8/qt. I'm looking at lubro-moly (German lube) for my change. I
would be interested if you find any info on the elusive additive.
