Bob, there's PLENTY left to do on my car.  I always seem to be breaking

To be honest, it never occurred to me to try and change the front
springs/shocks by disassembling in-car.  I've never had a car before where
you could remove the strut insert through the top, so I'm used to having to
remove the entire strut assembly from the car.  As a result I disconnected
brakes, driveshafts, swaybar, control arm, etc......  No wonder it was a
bitch.  And I did this twice.  Next time I'll have to give the replace in
situ approach a try.
