[s-cars] 93 S4 Bose Stereo Blues

I got the Bose Stereo (lack of) Blues!!
Amplifier in right front door panel has been repaired twice and continues
to cut out.  Works fine for a couple of days, then just quits (no
spectacular squawks, bleeps, or buzzing - just dead)  Three options I can
think of:
1.  Find another used amp unit in good working condition.
2.  Find a new amp unit (source unknown)
3.  Replace the Bose system with an amplified deck and an rewire (bypassing
the local amps in the front doors and rear deck).

Has anyone got any solutions for either 1, 2, or 3?
