I'm writing this just to report my experience. Not trying to sell anybody
that it's the world's best setup.

I'm running 195/65R15 Artic Alpins. I believe you need to have stock brakes
to run the 15 inch wheels. I've been pretty happy with them. The only
downside is that they emit a hum-like road noise on bare pavement. It's not
obnoxious. but it's there. On the plus side, the car is easier to drive
because the drunken wandering encountered with the Dunlop 8000s totally goes
away. The car tracks straight and steady. I don't have any snow traction
comparisons to give. My most serious test was stomping it in 2nd going up a
hill with fresh snow and the acceleration scared me into backing off pretty
quick. I was impressed.
