Nathan,
I didn't do the slave. Don't have to drop the trans to do the slave. I
did replace the rear crank seal and the transmision input shaft seal. I also
ordered gaskets for the CV joints. These come apart with the 12 point star
bits and are open to the CV joint. (greasy mess) The ones on the driveshaft
are allens and need to be heated to get them off. Also did the usual (disk,
pressure plate, TO bearing, and the pilot needle bearing in the flywheel. The
OEM Luk kit from Carolina Clutch has all of this plus a good alignment tool.
I plan on doing a write up for the few brave souls who want to take on this
job. Let me know if you're doing it yourself.

<< Dear Chad Tobin:
I have a shot gearbox (3rd gear tick & tacking) so I purchased a 95.5 S2
Avant 6-spd from the UK. I need to do a clutch since I'm in there and
need to order parts. Besides a clutch kit, what else are you replacing
(clutch slave cylinder,etc...)? TIA
