I was warned about this before.  As a result, my 1974 Datsun 260Z is still insured to a rural address in the state of Michigan with the state minimum amount of liability coverage.  They don't know that I actually sold the car LOL!  Guaranteed no claims for them I guess, so why would they care?

Keith-
Make sure you keep coverage on at least one car with minimal limits-
otherwise
you fall into the "non-continuous insurance coverage" category and you
can get
screwed on the rates.
