The S4 4.2 at 280HP at that time. To my knowledge, MTM is using compressor
for the V8 and Hohenester biturbo conversion is a lot more than 420 HP. I
was told 600 HP at least.

What this car sounds like is a '93 S4 4.2, although the 420hp part
is really strange. Other possibility is that it is a '94 RS2, with
significant power upgrades, but then it wouldn't be a V-8.
Joern's S4 is around 420hp, but AAN-based.
As Igor said, there's no way Audi considered a C4 chassis for rallying,
that's ridiculous. The 350 number for homologation doesn't jive with
anything I've heard either.
Possibly a MTM or Hohenester biturbo conversion?
