the only thing i'd worry about is switching to synthetic on a car
that has used dino oil all its life. if you have any leaks that
were previously clogged by sludge from the dino oil (and therefore not
leaking), you'll know about them quickly when you switch to synthetic.
i was skeptical of this at first, but after switching to synthetic
and being rewarded with a badly leaking oil pressure sender almost
immediately, i'm a believer. if the car has run on dino oil all its
life, i'd just keep it on dino oil. if you want to do something good
for the car, change the oil more often.
