I regret to say this but the most probable reason is outlined in your
last paragraph :)

- You have a 3 bar chipset that needs a WG spring???
- That setup is putting out 28psi boost?
- On the stock K24 turbo?
- Yet you are complaining about the lack of power?

Something is seriously wrong here. Methinks, the car is trying to tell
you something, Mark. For how long have you had this setup? I am very
surprised that it has not blown up yet.

Wastegate spring was from stage 1 upgrade, the 28 I will have to reconfirm
once I can drive again.
I have had this set-up since about August. It's not my daily driver, but the
weekend trip to the cottage.

When the computer stays outta limp mode, the power is great. TAP suggested
that a 3" exhaust, bigger turbo, and RS2 EM where "required". Perhaps I
should have listened :-(
