FWIW, when I first joined the list and was just coming off of MBZ 'board
sites', I too immediately questioned why email was the format of choice.
After switching to digest mode, and getting to know everyone here, I'll
never look back (though I'm sure many wish I would!).  Actually, I did one
day for giggles, surfed that "other" site over there.  I just about barfed.
I won't start a pissin match as to why, but happily logged off it and won't
go back.

Agreed, the archive searches are my only issue.  But hey, that's what we've
got Jamu The Archivehoar for, right? 8-)
