Looks good to me Keith. Now let this spoil sport grab the "game boy" for a
second, and put some caveats to the "plug and play" idea. Some unsuspecting
(Bob says there are none on this list:) traction control specialist buys the
RS2 ECU for 900USD, ready to plug and play. First test he passes (min): FI,
MAF, FPR and turbo (don't forget the RS2 exhaust cam and a hi flow exhaust -
porsche's tweeked IM can't make that much difference). Ok, well the RS2 sits
at 19psi continuous with some obvious tweeks to the timing tables to get some
phenom torque figgrs. Uh, oh, Keith plugged and played, and got like 17psi
continuous. Whassup with that? Scott, the schoolyard bully, grabs his
Hap-sized tape measure, and takes a datapoint between the RS2 IC, and the AAN
IC. Woops, more than DOUBLE the size. Hmmm. Rut-ro. Needs software....

On the other side of the lot, sits some dude that has done the above RS2
hardware, sent his box out for the 2.5 bar RS2 tweeked box...

What's the difference? Only money. I only advocate playing smarter, not
harder.

Scott: But if a person already has a RS2 MAF/FI/FPR in his AAN car, then it
seems this ECU *is* plug and play.

Here's my understanding from what I have heard from all the posts:

Stock RS2 ECU in stock AAN = NOT GONNA WORK
Stock RS2 ECU in AAN w/ RS2 MAF, RS2 FI's, and RS2 FPR = PLUG & PLAY (non MS
definition!)

RS2 ECU with AAN Chips (regardless of stage) = NOT GONNA WORK
AAN ECU with RS2 Chips (regardless of stage) = NOT GONNA WORK

In the end the CHIP software has to match both:
1) the ECU that its going in
2) the MAF / FI / FPR on the engine

So if someone already has RS2 MAF / FI / FPR, this will work. However if he
wants to upgrade his software later, he is going to have to use RS2-ecu
software *NOT* AAN-ecu software.

I'm not going to offer a judgement for anyone to buy or not buy this part, as
I don't know what the market price is for these things, AAN or RS2...
But if someone has a AAN with all the RS2 bits already installed, then this
ECU will work , but possible provide a more difficult SW upgrade path in the
future.
