[s-cars] Technician can't duplicate AC compressor condition

I must be too darn nit-picky about my Pearl ride. After months of
covering most plausible diagnoses with you good folks, and getting the
absolute lowest cost remanned compressor I could find (or borrow,
thanks Uncle Bob), my very good and knowledgeable Audi/VW technician
(not dealer) said there is some vibration, but he cannot determine if
it is the A/C compressor or something else on the ribbed belt
(alternator, steering pump). It is something on the belt, cause without
the belt, there is no vibration. I KNOW I heard it make awful noises
with the AC on and then those noises stopped when the AC was switched
off last season. Thus my preparedness for this swap-out before the
major cooling season. The word is "give it a few more weeks and see, if
it is bad, it will get worse."
