I just had the V8 Torsen rear differential installed in my 95.5 S6 and have a
problem.  I get a thunk like sound from the rear of the car only on full
throttle shifts at 7K rpms.  I was thinking it may be one or all three
bushings that triangulate the rear diff.  I didn't notice it before because
the car has EDL and that applies the rear brakes under 25MPH. The Torsen
works all the time and the differential may be rocking as the rear hunts for
grip.  Any opinions welcome.
