First off, I think the SSR Comps are killer. Someday, I hope a set
passes through my care.
Keep in mind they aren't as forged as their marketing spin would have
you believe. Semi-solid Forged yes, but this is better than cast not as
good as forged (see www.sacwheels.com for a quick description).
I have heard zero complaints with the 17s, and have heard some
complaints about 18s bending on the track. Alhtough, road use is a
harsher environment for wheels.
Anyway, sack-up, get yourself some 18s, mount up 255/35-18 Proxes T1-S,
and have at it. That would be an extremely light package with much
rubber on the road.

anyone have an opinion on whether or not SSR
Competition wheels are appropriate for regular street
use on a UrS6? they are forged wheels and very light
(15pds for 17x8s)... opinions are welcome...
