All of a sudden, I look down at my trip computer and it is reading and
average 46mpg. I am thinking to myself, this is great. The reason for
owning a car over a truck, the gas mileage. I let off the gas to see what
happens, and it jumps to over 70mpg, THANK YOU Audi gods!!! One could only
dream....does anyone out there have any clue why the readings of my mpg are
so far off? I could not see any pattern, except the numbers are vastly too
high (I wish I got 28 mpg around town). Everything else in the trip
computer (bar, miles, time, gallons) seem to report the same. Please help
in anyway.
Second question:
I am running mobil 1 through my 92 with just under 120K. I would like to
put in some sort of oil additive as my miles continue to grow. I have a GM
454 and I know that the additive I put in that (Restore) has helped in it's
almost perfect running condition at 160K. Does anyone have any suggestions
in terms of putting something in my synthic oil to add to the life of my
engine?
Thank you all again for your much appreciated help...
