I feel Bill was completely normal until he met me......A nice red Avant,
with a Wetteraur stage 1+ equivalent chipset, and the guy was happy.
Then he suggested we have lunch then next time he visited his NJ office.
I let him drive my rs2 Avant around for a while; he wound up buying
lunch, and hasn't been able to put his wallet back in his pocket
since...rs2 goodies, the magic chipset, alcantara, ipod, blacked-out
trim, 6-speed, and torsen.... and he still seems happy about the
addiction --- that's good!

Bob

No less than a year ago I considered the 6 speed install a ridiculus and
useless waste of money only done by listers that were certifiable
looneys.
(with all due respect) If they were beyond sick they would add a light
weight flywheel and stonger clutch.
Now, having spent about 15 of the last 36 hours on my own install, I
have
decided that this is one very coolest of mods. It is tight and smoother
than
the five speed. I went with bg syncro shift so perhaps that made some
difference.
With a little effort everything bolted right up and works perfect.
Clutch
has a little slippage, but I think thats due to some needed bedding?
Many thanks to Chad, Elijah and everyone who shared their install
experiences.
And what better way to spend a day than trans. install, perfect test
drive
and then come home to find your nicely packaged torsen diff. waiting on
the
porch. (Thank you uncle Bob!)
Now thats sick!
