Get factory guides, some of the "equivalent" ones are pretty bad, or
have a good cylinder head guy make some up for you. Take very little
off of the seat, and get new valves, stock ones are fine, I would back
cut them, and do a three angle on the seat. I would also at least port
match the intake, cylinder and exhaust. Replace the cam chain, and get
the viton "usually brown" not the green valve stem seals, I think the
green ones are buna.
Or you could just lap them and call it a day.

Its about time to do a valve job or the S4.
Any recommendations/exp?
expense?
Thinking of going RS2 while the head is off (cams, manifold) Can I
replace the internal components and do the turbo/injectors/software
later? Can't really handle the price tag for it all when we are in the
heart of tax season. Any suggestions appreciated.
