well I don't have turbo power yet but I do have a 20v.

I am having issuses with my oil pressure I beleive.
I
have had this coupe quattro for more than a year now and I am allways havin=
g these issuse. I just finished putting back together the top end. and I re=
alized something.

In bently The white 1.8 bar(26psi) is on the top and the Brown(vdo sender) =
.3bar(4.4psi) is on the bottom.

The previous owner installed these aftermarket autometer gauges in. And I a=
m looking at my engine and the white is on the bottom and the vdo is on the=
 top. on the bottom end.

Does it matter?
This is the problem I am having:

"The hydraulic vavle lifters are subjected to excess pressure if the oil pr=
essure is significantly increased ( pressure relief vavle is stuck or impro=
perly installled) the engine will then shut down shortly after starting, n=
ext when attempting to restart, the engine turns over extremely fast during=
cranking as a result of low compression (extended lifters).."

WEll at least this is what I am thinking that is happening.

But low compression could be the problem too, but I have no way of checking.

I have a new pressure relief vavle on order. I just installed a new spring.=
but at this moment I am perplexed.
