[s-cars] Drivers Side Door Latch Broke?!

Happened to me last winter. It was the rod going from the interior handle to
the latch at the jamb on the door. The latch end popped off. It took me
about two hours to get it all fixed, but only because I disassembled _way_
more than necessary. Here's what I ended up having to do (minus the excess
enthusiasm on disassembly<g>):
1) Run the window to full up.
2) Remove the interior door trim.
3) Fiddle around with the door latch: mirrors, needlenose pliers, bright
light, you should be able to get the hook on the rod end re-engaged.
4) Reassembly is the reverse of removal <g>.
HTH.

Subject: [s-cars] Drivers Side Door Latch Broke?!
Ok Gents..I use to like to watch the Dukes of Hazard when I was a kid..but
come on'....my drivers side door latch (inside) seems to have come
disconnected...thus I have to roll-down the window and open it from the
outside the lock the car and roll the window back up w/ the key.
Anyone else have this happen? Easy to fix? Parts needed?
Thx
