[s-cars] Drivers Side Door Latch Broke?!

Yeah, winter was hell on my passenger door. One ice storm it somehow managed
to freeze the door enough that the passenger pulled to hard on the interior
handle.
At the latch there is a formed little hook on the end of the cable. It's
fiddly work, by feel. But that is LIKELY the problem.
They have popped of an me more than once. Audi design :(

Ok Gents..I use to like to watch the Dukes of Hazard when I was a kid..but
come on'....my drivers side door latch (inside) seems to have come
disconnected...thus I have to roll-down the window and open it from the
outside the lock the car and roll the window back up w/ the key.

Anyone else have this happen?  Easy to fix?  Parts needed?
