gotcha...these are the anti-squeal shims that are glued to the backing plate of
the pad, and also clips that go into the pistons ... if you use them, they will
make life very difficult when it comes to changing pads--the only way to get
the pads out will be to unbolt the caliper from the bracket and remove the
caliper/pads from over the rotor...or use a putty knife to break the glue bond
between the shim and the pad. You can find these from your local Porsche
dealer...sorry, no part numbers as I didn't use them (and tho the family album
shows them, my understanding is the Audi p/n is not valid here)

Shims... maybe a bad description. Sometimes you can buy a plate that fits
between the pad backing plate and the caliper piston. Cody Payne, who just
installed his this last weekend, mentioned to me that he used some form of
these that have clips that slip into the piston. Hopefully this will help. My
current set of pads is way beyond noisy, and well into deafening. Woke the
guys up at the security checkpoint at the airport this morning.
