Wait a minute!!!! These problems with the front bumper were not due to the
car being started while in gear and the clutch not depressed. They happened
as someone backed away from a seen or unseen curb or other restriction. I too
have a wife with an automatic Audi and I have no problem remembering which
car I'm in. I also fly 3 variations of the 767 and 3 of the 757 and I don't
have a problem figuring those out either. This reminds me of the Naderstate
of mind and the infamous Audi unintended acceleration. Sheeesh. You are free
to modify your car as you wish but I won't be adding it to mine.
