[s-cars] Driveshaft replace/rebuild? sources?

Well it looks as if one of my S4's needs the drive shaft replaced or
rebuilt.  I am in Kalamazoo, Mi and have been quoted $1,100 for the
shaft "from Audi". Anyone know of an alternate source, or a local shop
that can rebuild it?
